Dear All,

I've finally got around to following up a previous discussion about sharing resources etc., the outcome of this is that it appears we want to share web resources, but we all use different social bookmarking software, blogs etc., to record these. So I've thought of a solution which some of us might like to try. I've created a pageflakes area where we (I initially but I'd like to roll out the admin :-)) can upload the rss feeds from our social bookmark tags, blogs etc., and I've also included some
recommended tags based on previous emails. The means of getting this info to me is via an online form.

I thought it might be really useful to give it a try, and see if it's better than an email list for this type of work.

The pageflakes area: <http://www.pageflakes.com/andy.ramsden/11453814>

The online form to submit your rss: www.survey.bris.ac.uk/ltss/ukhepodnet

This is "very" explorative, it might lead to us needing to better manage it, a mechanism to weed out inappropriate material etc., but we can face a lot of these issues later and debate on this list and perhaps set up some polling software for when the community needs to make a decision :-)

So I'd encourage people to get involved :-)

Cheers

Andy
