In a reply to my request for info Brogden & Sons, Alasdair Neil wrote
".... They probably had other interests in the South West as they employed a
mining agent to oversee all their interests in Cornwall" AND "Sorry don't
know his name ."
The Mineral Statistics for the Frampton Cotterell Iron Mine includes the
name Thomas Trevithick as "manager"
Could he be the agent Alasdair refers to? Name certainly sounds as if he
was from Cornwall !!
Any info on Thomas Trevithick greatly appreciated
