Hi
My father-in-law was once a Bevin Boy who worked at Penallta Colliery,
South Wales at the very end of WW-II.
Whilst there he made a set of sketches of his life there which I am
assembling into something that might be published.
Unfortunately he is in failing health and there are some bits and pieces
of information that would possibly be of use in completing the item I am
assembling.
Are any readers of this list, by chance, either ex-Bevin Boys who might
have knowledge/photos of Penallta at the time or have memories please?
