the following June and July workshops:

*22nd June 2007: Digital Photography - Level 1, Bristol
Provides an understanding of the techniques and skills needed to
produce the best quality images from a digital camera. Some
background theory will be supported by hands-on practical exercises
in photography.
*6th July 2007: Scanning from Print, Bristol
Provides a practical overview of digitising printed resources using a
scanner or camera within the context of the Copyright Licensing
Agency (CLA) scanning licence.
*18th July 2007: Photoshop - Level 1, Bristol
Introduces Photoshop's interface, tools, basic features and commands.
Technical theory and explanation will be supported through a range
of hands-on activities.
*19th July 2007: Photoshop - Level 2, Bristol
Further develops a working knowledge of Photoshop's tools and
commands for creating and optimising digital images within a
practical context.
*26th July 2007: Introduction to Image Metadata, Bristol
Introduces the issues involved in creating metadata for image
collections, through explanation, discussion and practical
activities.
