Hi,
On behalf of CILIP I am circulating an advert for students to undertake
some work. I would be grateful if you could circulate this to your
students.
Short term employment opportunity for Librarianship students: July 2007
The Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) and Universities UK (UUK) are
looking to employ a small group of librarianship students to assist in
analysing course pack data collected during CLA surveys of universities
over the past three years. The work will provide valuable data about
trends in course pack copying for CLA and UUK. The data analysis will be
undertaken from 9th-13th July and will be based in central London, near
Holborn Circus (nearest tube: Farringdon).
Students should have a keen eye for detail, be well organised,
meticulous and systematic in approach. Full instructions and support
will be given throughout the work.
Students must be available on the specified dates to work a full 35 hour
week. Lunch will be provided on site if required. The pay will be
approximately £12 per hour.
