The Faculty of Science of the University of Zurich
invites applications for the position of
Full or Associate Professor of Economic Geography
Candidates should have demonstrated successful
research and teaching experience and have an
internationally recognized track record in
Economic Geography. The newly appointed professor
will lead the Economic Geography Division of the
Department of Geography and will be responsible
for its teaching program at the undergraduate and
graduate level. We expect evidence of the ability
to attract and direct substantial research
projects and to collaborate with colleagues both
within and beyond the discipline. The Department
of Geography of the University of Zurich is a
growing, internationally recognized department
and is the largest in Switzerland.
The position will commence on 1 February 2009.
