Sorry for the basic question but could someone give me some adivse on a
Linux installation.
I am running Windows XP and using VMWare to run Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.
I have unzipped and tarred the FSL download and updated .bashrc in my home
directory. When I try to run FSL I get the following error message. Also, I
am using BASH.
FSLDIR has not been set!
/usr/local/fsl/bin/wish: line 17: /bin/wish8.4: No such file or directory
/usr/local/fsl/bin/wish: line 17: exec: /bin/wish8.4: cannot execute: No
such file or directory
Wish8.4 is not in /bin but in /usr/local/fsl/bin
but I think the path is set right
$ echo $path
/usr/local/fsl/bin /usr/kerberos/bin /usr/local/bin /usr/bin /bin /usr/X11R6/bin
My .bashrc looks like this
# .bashrc
# User specific aliases and functions
# FSL Additions
FSLDIR=/usr/local/fsl
. ${FSLDIR}/etc/fslconf/fsl.sh
PATH=${FSLDIR}/bin:${PATH}
export FSLDIR PATH
# Source global definitions
if [ -f /etc/bashrc ]; then
. /etc/bashrc
fi
~
".bashrc" 16L, 242C written
Any help would be much appreciated,
Kevin
