Applications are now invited for the post of Archive Assistant (Graduate Trainee) at Glasgow University Archive Services. Colleagues are asked to bring this to the attention of likely candidates.
The University of Glasgow's Graduate Archive Trainee programme gives a wide variety of experience to those intending to apply for one of the university courses in Archives & Records Management in the UK or Ireland. In addition to document delivery and searchroom supervision duties, trainees work on a variety of projects and tasks. Trainees are also offered a range of supporting activities, such as visits, training courses and seminars, to help them gain a fuller understanding of careers in this field.
