1.3 Applying for CMALT
...if you work for an organisational or sponsoring member of ALT, we will
waive the individual membership fee for staff of organisational or
sponsoring members of ALT who put forward a group of 5 or more people for
CMALT. Organisations wishing to take advantage of this will need to send
ALT a purchase order listing the name(s) and email address(es) of the
individuals whom they are putting forward to undertake CMALT. ALT will
then make these people individual members of the Association and contact
them about the CMALT application process. Such individuals will normally
have six months in which to obtain certified membership. Individuals whose
membership fee is waived in this way will not receive posted services from
ALT (copies of the Journal, and copies of the Newsletters and Mailing),
but they will be added to the ALT-Announce and ALT-Members email lists in
the normal way. Once they become certified members of ALT, and after their
first full year of certified membership, the full, annual, certified
membership fee will fall due.
If your organisation would like ALT to run an internal workshop for CMALT
applicants or potential applicants, please contact Teresa Prochazka,
Projects Manager: [log in to unmask]
