*e-Learning Practitioner Conference - submission deadline fast approaching*
Last month we announced the QIA/ALT e-Learning Practitioner Conference,
which we will run with the support of Becta, JISC, LSC, and LSN in
Nottingham on 11 October 2007.
The conference is for practitioners and managers in FE, Adult and
Community Learning, and Work-based Learning. The event will be similar
in style to the successful LSDA/ALT event held in London on 13 October
2005, from which the published output is at
http://www.alt.ac.uk/fepc2005.html.
All over the UK there are outstanding examples of excellent e-learning
implementation, ranging from wholesale redesigns of buildings to
particularly effective use of e-learning on individual programmes, to
successful methods for ensuring whole-organisation change.
The success of our conference will, as in 2005, depend on colleagues
coming forward with proposals to describe the things they have achieved;
because it is from these proposals that QIA and ALT will devise the
programme for the day.
Full information relating the conference, including the all-important
"proposal form" can be accessed from some obvious links at
http://www.alt.ac.uk/. The closing date for proposals is 22 June.
Please encourage colleagues whom you know have successes to describe, in
FE, ACL, or Work-based Learning, to put in a proposal.
Regards,
Seb Schmoller, ALT
Markos Tiris, QIA
