RECRUITING HEALTH ECONOMISTS

AT ALL LEVELS

OXFORD

Competitive package


Due to increasing demand for our services, we are 
looking to further expand its health economic 
capability.  Oxford Outcomes has a diverse 
portfolio of research projects, working with 
major European and North American clients in the 
health and pharmaceutical sectors.  Our main areas of specialisation are:

·         Health economic evaluations, including 
evidence synthesis and decision modelling
·         Pharmaco-epidemiology
·         Health outcome and utility measurement.

We aim to deliver high quality research and to 
advance health economic methodology through a 
highly professional approach.  In order to fulfil 
this aim, our research staff are expected to be 
creative and capable of developing expertise that 
meets the needs of the growing health economics 
market.  We recognise the importance of people 
within our company and actively encourage 
professional development, conference attendance 
and publication in high-calibre peer-reviewed journals.

health economics reputation is growing fast and

We are recruiting at all levels.  To join us, you should possess:

·         a Master’s degree or equivalent in 
health economics or related quantitative 
discipline, such as operational research, statistics, epidemiology
·         well-developed quantitative skills
·         experience of research methods
·         excellent written and oral communication skills
·         the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Senior Health Economist/Analyst

Ideal candidates will have at least two years 
experience with a track record of publications in 
peer-reviewed scientific journals.  You will have 
leadership ability and previous experience of 
project management which will include expertise in health economic evaluation.

Health Economist/Analyst

Ideal candidates will have at least one years 
experience, some experience of project management 
and leadership potential.  You will also have 
experience in economic evaluation, including 
trial- or model-based cost-effectiveness 
analysis, quantitative analysis of observational data or utility elicitation.

Associate Health Economist/Analyst



Successful candidates will support the team’s 
activities by performing literature searches, 
data collection, and other project support 
tasks.  You will also assist with health economic 
evaluations and discrete choice experiments, 
utility elicitation, literature reviews and 
building economic models.  In time, you will 
develop your skills and start to work on projects of your own.
