I agree with Carol about being constantly bombarded with ACR's dating years back on top of getting 06/07 ones every month. It wouldn't be so bad if they gave us some warning but it's just the constant lack of communication that amazes me.
One of my favourite 'classic slc' moments from this year has got to be when I received the instruction manual to go with HEI Course Capture Database and was told that it included important updates from the previous year, but when I opened it, it still had the track changes on (v sloppy) and the only difference was that they'd updated 05/06 to 06/07! Brilliant!

I would agree, I think this is by some distance the biggest shambles yet
and there is a real sense that their systems are in meltdown. I feel sorry
for some of the people in the frontline at the SLC as they are in an
impossible situation, but not the people on the phones who are being their
usual unhelpful self.
I feel particularly sorry for the person who answered 4 of my 2 week old
queries yesterday only to get another 15 from me today.
