Commission support for digital take-up in Europe (31 May 2007)The
Commission has taken some important further steps to stimulating
innovation and competitiveness in Europe by promoting the wider uptake
of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) by citizens,
governments and businesses. The adoption of the 2007 work programme of
the new ICT Policy Support Programme (ICT PSP) and launch of the first
call for proposals will help all sectors of Europe's economy take a lead
in markets requiring innovative ICT-based solutions and create many new
business opportunities.

European eGovernment Awards - Only two weeks left (20 April 2007)There
are only two weeks left to submit a proposal for the European
eGovernment Awards 2007. The awards for the most outstanding eGovernment
solutions will be given at the fourth Ministerial eGovernment Conference
2007 on 20 September in Lisbon, Portugal.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS
ICT Policy Support Programme - The first Call for Proposals
is now open
(Deadline: 23/10/2007) The first call for proposals of the ICT Policy
Support Programme (or ICT PSP) opened on 25 May 2007 and will close on
23 October 2007. The call text, the Guide for Applicants and all
relevant forms and templates for the submission of a proposal are
available online.

Economic Impact of Interoperable Electronic Health
Records & ePrescription in Europe
(Deadline: 13/08/2007) The objectives of this study are to contribute to
those activities that deal with the collection, analysis and eventual
dissemination of best practices in the domain of eHealth. This study
will more specifically focus on economic aspects of Electronic Health
Records (EHR) and ePrescription solutions.
