An email from an unknown source to Hotmail will automatically go into
the junk mail folder. Unless the sendee is looking for this mail it will
go un-noticed and disappear after 5 days. A sender has to have their
email address in the reciever's contact list for their mail to go
directly to the inbox.
It might be worth your while suggesting to all Hotmail users that you
are sending an email to establish your credentials on their accounts and
so get them to check their junk mail.
Good luck
Dick

Subject: [VLES] emailing from VLEs issues
Hi
anyone suffering from issues when trying to do mass mails from within a
VLE.
For example Forums that send postings via email to everyone registered
to that forum.
All the 'big' mails that we do to hotmail accounts seem to be bouncing
back and not getting to recipients at all. When we tried with a small
forum, two people two messages, they got through.
I know AOL has some sort of anti spam affair where you have to tell them
that your messages are legit does hotmail have a similar thing going on?
Is anybody else having issues with hotmail accounts or is this one all
our very own?
Thanks
Heather
