it seems that the problem is also that the updates are becoming 'fat'
i.e. they contain too many different things. For example the upgrade of
lcg-voms rpm has a high priority to avoid job failures and doesn't
require any planning (can be done automatically). DPM instead is an
update that doesn't concern all the sites and requires planning and a
much more thorough testing.
I'd like to know if Yves has opened savannah or ggus tickets and if yes
what is their number. SA3 people don't like to be told it doesn't work
'I read it on a mailing list'. A savannah bug or a GGUS ticket number
are much more effective. Also I have the impression that DPM is creating
problems at every update maybe it is helpful to identify which
components are recursively failing.
