Applications are invited for a three-year, full-time postdoctoral researcher post held jointly within the Department of Forensic Mental Health Science at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London and the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust/Institute of Psychiatry NIHR Biomedical Research Centre.
The post-holder will work on a research programme that is designed to identify the neurobiological, genetic, and psychosocial correlates of symptoms and behaviours in children who are vulnerable for developing schizophrenia-spectrum disorders.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or Psychology (or be shortly to complete a Ph.D.), will be familiar with SPSS or STATA data analysis packages, and have a good understanding of statistical methods. Applicants must have the ability to independently collect and analyse EITHER structural MRI data (via VBM or ROI methods) OR ERP/EEG data.
Starting salary in the range £23,175 pa to £28,918 pa (inclusive of £2,323 pa London Allowance), depending on qualifications and experience.
