Hi
If you are following BIP 0008 you can destroy them almost immediately
after scanning (in practice, we hold our scanned content for 4 weeks).
You will need to follow the 0008 work book etc.

Subject: Application forms
Hello all, hoping I can get some help on a retnetion question.
Our Adutl Learning services currently hold 4 years worth of hard copy
application forms. All of the information, with the exception of the
signature, is also held electronically. How long would they need to hold
to on to the original hard copies before detroying them?
Thanks
Sarah
