ICS International Postgraduate Conference:
"Communication Technologies of Empowerment"

The Institute of Communications Studies (ICS) at the University of Leeds
will be hosting an international postgraduate day conference. Under
the title "Communication Technologies of Empowerment", this event seeks to
provide a platform for exchange and collaboration by bringing together young
scholars who are studying how the latest developments in
communication are affecting democracy and cultures by enabling new forms of
political participation and citizen engagement, and enriching cultural
experience.
