Dear all
Following my brief email last week to lis-ucr, here are the full details of the 'Changing face, saving space' event.
Please note bookings should go to Helen Coman at Huddersfield, and not to me.
Thanks

CHANGING FACE, SAVING SPACE :
Space management and new learning environments
Thursday 14th June 2007 10.00 - 4.00pm
Conference 21, Sheffield Hallam University

About the event:
There is currently much debate about the type of learning environments we should be providing in libraries and resource centres in higher and further education. The new trends towards flexible space and enabling technologies impact on the way we develop library space, whether via new build or redevelopment of existing accommodation. And given the demands to create more flexible and social space, what do we do with the book stock? The speakers at this event represent a variety of approaches to the creation of new learning spaces.
