Head of Imaging Services Department
Grade: 9
Salary Range: £32,795 - £41,544 pa
Applications are invited for the post of Head of Imaging Services to provide
strategic leadership for the Imaging Services Department and to oversee all
aspects of the day-to-day management of its services. The role-holder’s
responsibilities will include business and financial planning, marketing,
budgeting and cost control, staff and operational management, and change
leadership. He or she will develop with the relevant library departments an
implementation strategy for the digitisation of library collections, set
digitisation and other technical standards, and support digitisation project
leaders in the planning and management of projects by providing information
on costs, staffing and equipment, and making recommendation on technical
aspects of the work.
You should be educated to degree standard or equivalent professional
qualification; you will also have excellent management, organisational and
communication skills with an excellent understanding of current trends and
developments in digital imaging technology and practice and related areas.
