I attended an Eduserv Symposium on virtual worlds & learning (but mostly about
Second Life) last week: there were some librarians as delegates. I did a

I'm still a newbie in SL and am thinking through at the moment whether there are
ways in which SL could meaningfully be used with students. I think it is an
interesting issue about what function a library should have in SL. People seem
to like gathering places in SL, which is one function of a library, and there
seems a genuine function for librarians as information guides (but I would say
that, I suppose)
