Sorry, I read your email too quickly. You were asking about
BIlateral treaties. I imagine that such treaties would be less
likely to have an amendment clause, but might have a renegotiation
clause in some instances. But I doubt whether there are many even in
the latter category: particularly if the treaty is for a limited
period or contains provisions for denunciation, and one of them is
thinking of doing so, either party could propose renegotiation of its
terms in any case.
