The Pitt Rivers Museum is seeking an Assistant Education Officer to work within the Museum’s
Education Service. The post holder will be trained to deliver and develop the Museum’s family
activities programme and support a broad range of other activities, including community projects
and some delivery of schools’ programmes. The essential requirements are a proven experience of
working with a range of age groups, experience of producing educational resources and an ability to
deliver enthusiastic talks or workshops. This post is funded by Renaissance in the Regions, and is
initially until 31st March 2008. It is hoped that further Renaissance funding will allow this post to
continue.
