Cheers Mark,

That's fair enough. Thanks for your Matlab suggestion, but I'm hoping
to have a general script that people can use with just FSL. I've got
something working by using the Linux program "dd" to swap the bytes of
the raw files
dd if=in.raw of=out.img conv=swab 2>/dev/null
I don't suppose you/anyone knows how standard dd is? I.e. can I be
fairly certain that any machine running FSL (e.g. solaris or cygwin)
will have dd? If not, is there a better tool for swapping bytes? (It
seems like it *should* be a standard Unix utility...)
> As for your second question - the origin in Analyze is a real hack
Hmmm... I feared as much... Personally, I think NIfTI is wonderful,
and mainly use FSL and SPM5, but, unfortunately other people/software
in my lab only work with Analyze. Doesn't sound like there's much I
can do though...
Thanks for your help,
Ged
