will give a talk on 16 May 2007 at the LSE on the theme of his new book
“In Search of Memory – The Emergence of the New Science of the Mind”

Professor Kandel won the Nobel Prize in Physiology in 2000 for
discoveries concerning signal transduction in the nervous system.
The lecture will be Chaired by Professor Nikolas Rose, Director of the
