I guess the root of debate is in the circular trap placed by the apparent
opposition between critical vs post-modern theory. To be able to think
outside the box, I may suggest, why not use Pierre Bourdieu's social capital
framework? Those doing theory and those campaigning could equally have a
shared interest, accumulate social capital whilst contributing to
