Thompson's Annual Industrial Relations lecture: Globalisation and the trade
union movement
In association with Thompson's Solicitors, Cardiff University's Centre for
Global Labour Research is hosting the Thompson's Annual Industrial Relations
lecture on Thursday 31 May 2007.
The theme is 'Globalisation and the trade union movement' and the speakers
are Philip Jennings, General Secretary, Union Network International (UNI),
the Global Union Federation for the service sector; and Paul Mason, BBC
Newsnight Industrial Correspondent and author of new book: 'Live Working or
Die Fighting: how the working class went global'. The event will be chaired
by Ed Heery, Co-Director, Centre for Global Labour Research.
