Please find below details for two ESRC case studentships. I'd be most grateful
if you could pass the details on to anyone who you think might be interested in
applying for the posts. The application date for both posts is the 15th June
2007. A more detailed 'flyer' about each project is also available. If
interested, drop me a line and I'll e-mail it through. In brief, the first is a
project about traditional food retailing / retail markets in England, especially
links to the local / alternative food economy. The second is a project about
farm tenancy and agricultural restructuring, especially the uncertain status of
county farms in light of recent CAP reforms.

Dept. of Geography, Environment and Disaster Management, Coventry University
ESRC Collaborative (CASE) PhD Studentship
'The changing place of traditional food retailing: a geographical analysis of
English retail markets' - in conjunction with the National Association of
British Market Authorities.
We are looking for a high quality candidate, preferably with or completing an RT
recognized advanced (Masters) course in Human Geography or related area of
Social Science.
