Do you mean you want to project the 3D spectrum down to one of the (three)
2D planes by summing all the values in each (orthogonal) column? In Azara
there is a program (imaginatively) called "project" to do just that, but
presumably your data is some other format. So the first question is what
format is your raw data? (We should be able to fiddle it so that it
believes it's Azara format by writing an appropriate header file.)
