Hello,
That is a known problem. It arises because the drawing of the crosshair
is using xor in the Tk. This results in an inversion of the colour.
(This also means that you get a dotted line style because the grid points
are drawn twice and the second time the effect of the xor is to revert to
the original pixel colour.) As it happens, in the OpenGL graphics mode
this doesn't happen. This Tk inversion will get fixed at some point.
Meanwhile you can consider it to be a feature rather than a bug!
