Part Time Temporary UCL Teaching Fellow in Statistical Science
The UCL Department of Statistical Science has a
need for one or more part time temporary teaching
fellows to deliver courses in Statistical
Science. The need arises because of staff leave
in the academic year 2007/8. Duties would involve
the setting and marking of coursework and a final
exam, as well as delivering the lectures and/or
organising workshops. The Department gives
courses at levels ranging from introductory
statistics for students from other disciplines,
through to specialised masters level courses. It
would be easiest to accommodate someone wishing
to teach at the introductory level, but there is scope for some flexibility.
Applications would be welcomed both from those
willing to give a single course and from
candidates offering a more substantial commitment
of time. For the latter there may be the
possibility of some tutorial duties also.
The salary will be pro rata in the lecturer range
starting at £29138 plus £2497 London Allowance,
depending on qualifications and experience.
More information about the Department and the
courses we teach can be found on our website at http://www.ucl.ac.uk/Stats
Enquiries should be sent in the first instance to
the Departmental Administrator, Marion Ware –
