Dear all
We are currently reviewing the processes by which we determine student's
progression from one academic year to another. I would be grateful if
you could answer the following.
1) Do you have prescribed rules within your regulations that determine,
how many passes are required to move from one level to another.
2) Is there any discretion over how these rules operate. If there is
then who has the right to exercise this discretion.
3) Do you rely on your student records system to recommend decisions.
4) If the answer to 3 is Yes and you are a SITS user then do you use CSP
5) Is there a direct mapping from the progression code/decision used to
the funding completion field in the HESA return. If not then how do you
determine FUNDCOMP.
I would suggest that people reply to me and if there is sufficient
responses will summarise for the list.
Regards
David
