GPs, EPs... Same doctors, same patients, same conditions - different
building.
We - ALL PHYSICIANS (and nureses, paramedics, etc) have bigger fish to fry.
We have all seen or heard of GPs working in an ED and what a valuable role
they can play.
We have all seen EPs move into general practice as well.
We'll not agree on a deifinition of what is "acute" anymore than we'll
convine our patients of what constitues an "emergency".
For ALL OF US on the GP-EM spectrum we need to continue to expand our
cooperative realm, not narrowly define it!
And we need to support our juniors, about whom this thread is (or was), even
if this means doing the 100% opposite of "supporting" the process of their
disenfranchisement (I hope that's how you spell it)...
