The GIS Team at the Centre for Emergency Preparedness and Response is
responsible for providing a GIS capability and GIS analysis for the
Microbial Risk Assessment programme and for Emergency Preparedness and
Response. GIS is used to examine, and respond to, natural or deliberate
health threats to the UK.
A GIS Support Scientist is now required to help support and develop the
GIS capability. The successful candidate will preferably have experience
of ArcGIS and Ordnance Survey datasets and will be given opportunity to
work with the latest desktop and server based GIS technologies.
