JOB ROLE: We are seeking Senior Statistical Programmers (2 positions
available) on behalf of our client who will work as an integral part of a
large statistical programming and biostatistics team. The role holder/s
will provide statistical programming support for the review, reporting and
transfer of clinical trial data. This is a demanding and challenging role
where there is the opportunity to use a range of skills including
technical, commercial and communications. The role is based in Berkshire.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES include:
Using programming skills to support a range of clinical trials
from inception to completion.
Providing support in a variety of areas including: analysis plans,
data production (tables, listings & figures), restructuring, review and
integration of external data, transfer of data, production of consistency
checks and QC listings, and generation of randomisation schema.
Assisting with the business development process
Working with project teams and other relevant members of the
clinical trials process as appropriate to ensure that project deadlines
are achieved and customer requirements met.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
BSc degree or equivalent in a related subject.
Previous programming work experience must be demonstrated,
increasing for more senior positions.
Direct experience within a clinical research or pharmaceutical
environment is ideal.
SKILLS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Team-working and customer focus skills.
Good interpersonal skills confidence in communicating with
colleagues and customers alike.
Must be focused on delivery, enjoy being challenged and
commercially astute.
