This is a very good point. And a great way to learn to do something well
(critiquing, for example:-/) is to practise, and to allow oneself to fail.
It annoys and bewilders me when people talk to me about "my sort of
poetry". Can you do a workshop on your sort of poetry?, they say,
or, That magazine might publish your sort of poetry.
I wish I knew what they were talking about.
