Hi Alison, if the employee's own GP wont or cant do it, we have a named GP
who runs a travel clinic. He forwards his charges to the Dept the employee
works in.

>Dear all.
>How do other OHA's providing a service to councils and local authorities
>arrange for their "at risk" staff members to be vaccinated against
>Hepatitis B?
>This department does not currently provide a vaccination service and the
>nature of the Council is that is serves a wide geographical area, which
>would make it difficult from the practical point of view to ask people to
>attend for vaccines even if we did.
>As others will be aware, gone are the days when employees could get the
>vaccines done through the GP, but as OH providers we do obviously have a
>duty of care to do so.
>Any suggestions would be appreciated.
>Best wishes,
>Alison
