Are those machine/account specific keys? Or are they just a pointer to
say it is regged? I've never actually thought to look at that...

During my attempted repack of Ent edition, it seems that most keys are
put into the HKCRoot section, rather than HKCM. These seem to be copied
over to the HKCUser section at runtime, if they don't exist, although I
have still been having problems as I haven't finished tweaking the
repacking.
Someone may want to confirm!
(Note that my repacking is for live systems that need RP before our next
image deploy, not repacking specifically for image build)

The only bit of re-packaging I do for realplayer is to capture the
registration procedure so I can simply plonk the registry entries into
each
users profile when they login for the first time and thus realplayer
will
think the user has registered so that it just starts and works. It also
gives me the opportunity to disable the autoupdates and other things
that
non privileged users can't do.

Are those machine/account specific keys? Or are they just a pointer to
say it is regged? I've never actually thought to look at that...
If they are generic, I'd be interested to have a copy of the keys, if
that's possible?
Regards
