A new FREE Internet tutorial for Travel and Tourism has been released in
the Intute Virtual Training Suite this term.
The tutorials are designed to help students develop Internet research
skills for their university or college work, and can be used by lecturers
or librarians to support courses in research methods, information literacy
and study skills.
The tutorial has been completely updated and revised by Philip Rowe
Programme Co-ordinator, Travel and Tourism Department, City of Bristol
College

This is part of the second stage of a major programme of change to update
and revise all the tutorials in the Virtual Training Suite over the coming
year.
The recommended lists of key Internet resources have been completely
updated; there is new advice on Internet searching, with improved
interactive exercises; and a new section called "Success Stories" to
illustrate how the Internet can be used effectively to support education
and research.
The tutorial has also been given a new look and feel to make it more
graphical and visually appealing.
