Dear listmembers,
Surveillance & Society is looking to build up its database of potential
referees for submitted articles.
If you interested in acting as a referee and have not done so for S&S
before, please contact me and copy in our new editorial assistant, Emily
Smith [[log in to unmask]].
We need a wide variety of referees in all areas and disciplines, but we
require that referees are either in (or have retired from) academic or
relevent professional employment (and preferably that they have a PhD).
Please list:
Your Name and Title
Your Institutional Affiliation and Job
Your Areas of Expertise, particularly (as is relevent to you, but try to
limit yourself to 3 items in each category!):
1. Discipline(s) (e.g.: Sociology, Law, STS, etc.);
2. Surveillance focus (e.g.: CCTV, voyeurism, Internet privacy, etc.)
3. Geographical area of expertise (e.g.: East Asia, US Cities, Portugal,
etc.;
4. Any particular philosophical, theoretical or methodological expertise
(e.g.: Hegel, ANT, ethnomethodology etc.).
David.
PS: a special request - right at this moment, I am particularly
interested in finding someone with a psychoanalytic bent...
