Hi All,
A few weeks ago I posted about a problem with triggers in my BDF
files. After import into SPM the triggers were appearing with numbers
different from and with no clear relationship to those that I
expected to see. This problem was occuring for data that I collected
on a Biosemi system in Berkeley but not in data collected from a
different Biosemi system in London. James Kilner (UCL FIL) found a
solution to the problem. Please try the solution below if you
encounter a similar problem with triggers in BDF data. I'm not quite
sure why the difference occurs but it may be related to the exact
type of trigger interface, i.e. the older PCI interface between the
A/D box and the computer vs. the newer USB box.
To solve the problem, comment out line 379 of the spm_eeg_rdata_bdf.m
file. This line reads "bytes = flipdim(bytes,2);"
Regards,
Joe
