Thanks Pat, Doug. Yes, that is a far better outcome Doug. Apparently I'm
reading sometime in August with Barry Dickins and some other people, but
I don't know too much about it yet - someone I know threw my name into a
list of people they wanted for a festival, and the next thing I receive
a phone call asking me to attend. Considering that I suffered from a
severe bout of stage-fright that effectively ended an acting career, am
completely unknown as a writer, and consider most of my own work with a
deal of suspicion, this could be a most interesting event.
Amazingly, the next email I received after posting this was a spam for a
"small investors dream". (I suppose I get to pick where to place the
apostrophe.) I was away instantly with that one - especially with a
found line like "A banned horse's communist kind way"...
