*More information on the project*
The project, Increasing the Supply of Mathematical Sciences Graduates,
is funded by The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE)
and will involve working directly with local schools, colleges and
employers in developing careers information and education. The project
will also encourage school and college students to maintain an interest
in mathematics after GCSE and develop the undergraduate mathematics
curriculum to ensure its supports a wide-range of students, helping to
increase student retention. The project will run in three pilot areas -
London, the West Midlands, and Yorkshire and Humberside.
