The National Knowledge Week on 'Pain in Palliative and Supportive Care'
takes place on the Library's web pages from Monday 30th April to Friday
4th May 2007.
http://www.library.nhs.uk/palliative/
Unfolding day by day, it aims to provide a concise, easy-to-
read overview of the best current knowledge and will include our
first 'Annual Evidence Update' on the subject, complemented by expert
commentaries and other features.
In the preceding week, staff from the Library will be attending the
British Pain Society's Annual Scientific Meeting in Glasgow:
http://www.britishpainsociety.org/meet_glasgow2007asm.htm
So if you attend that event, do come and see us to find out more.
The pages will remain accessible online until the next Annual Evidence
Update appears in 12 months time. So if you would like to contribute to
the 2008 update, or if you have any comments on how we went about it this
time, please use our feedback form accessed from the Library home page, or
email us direct.
Best wishes,
Richard Stevens
