I have been asked by a GP to a literature search on the following
question and, perhaps predictably, have not found very much. Has
anybody
been asked to do a similar search and found anything? If it's not too
cheeky to ask, would you be willing to share your search strategy?
The question is:
The effectiveness of interventions that are aimed at improving
patients' skills in using internet-based treatments (not the Web
itself). So, if there is any training designed to help patients to use
an internet-based treatment or intervention, our GP wants to know what
it is and how effective it is.
Naturally enough, most studies are studies of the effectiveness of the
web-based treatments or interventions themselves, rather than the
skills
training.
Many thanks in anticipation for any information or advice.
