*Apologies for cross-postings*
Here at York University, we are rapidly expanding our physical audio-visual
collection, and are also exploring online alternatives that may be
available.
An example would be Naxos Digital Library, or the resources currently being
advertised by Alexander Street Press, offering access to streamed online
music and video, available for download.
We are also interested in iTunesU and how this may present opportunities
for iTunes store purchases to be distributed to students, or the possible
proposed long-term aim of TRILT to make off-air recordings available from
their database.
I would be interested to hear of other resources that may offer access via
online routes and of any experiences gained in this area.
Many thanks
Lisa
