1. Dreamweaver: The Essentials, 1st – 2nd May

This practical 2-day workshop delivers an essential guide to the core Dreamweaver features for the creation, formatting, management and updating of web page content. It is suitable for anyone for those would like to create their own web pages and web sites using Dreamweaver.
Topics covered during this workshop include:
HTML, the Web and Dreamweaver
Creating and editing web pages using Dreamweaver
Working with style sheets in Dreamweaver
Content management with Dreamweaver Templates
Reusable content with Library Items and Code Snippets
Site configuration and asset management
Tracking and updating content
Dreamweaver site checking tools
2. Fundamentals of Flash 8: 3rd May

Increasingly, web designers now wish to incorporate more than text and static images in their sites. Macromedia Flash provides a means of creating animated content that is optimised for web delivery. This can include elements such as animated graphics and text, as well as more sophisticated applications, such as tutorials and simulations.
Topics covered during this workshop include:
An overview of the Macromedia Flash interface
Creating animation with motion and shape 'tweening'
Using layers, guide layers and mask layers
Efficient reuse of content using symbols and libraries
Optimising and publishing Flash movies for web delivery
Making Flash movies accessible
Managing and sharing Flash assets with libraries
