It's not the software that's important but the protocol(s) the
software supports. Remember that Shibboleth is a protocol:

Whatever software you choose, if it doesn't support the Shibboleth
protocol, it won't interoperate with the Shibboleth software. Just
because a product supports SAML doesn't mean it supports Shibboleth,
since Shibboleth is an extension of SAML.
