A limited number of places are available for the following short course:
A 5 day short course, “Health Informatics: an Introduction”, will take
place in the Health Informatics Centre, University of Dundee, every
Thursday from 26 April to 24 May 2007. The course is spread over 5 weeks
for the convenience of those in full time work. It includes a series of
short lectures, practical exercises and site visits. The course consists
of 25 hours teaching time and is accredited for 25 CPD points and 5
ScotCat points.

Aim of the course:
To help participants understand the principles of health informatics and
how they apply to tasks they are likely to face in their professional
lives.

Who the course is intended for:
Health care and public health professionals, NHS managers and others with
an interest or role in the procurement of health information systems,

Masters by Research or PhD in health informatics.
