If Atos is having problems with imaging and ultrasound,
"Ultrasound and medical imaging services, which were being provided by
the IT consultancy, were suspended on 20 March after NHS North West
claimed that "operational issues had led to incomplete patient
information being included and delays in reporting diagnoses".
1. what have the front line effects been? The article says 500 patients
will be recalled: when and to what? I.e. does this mean that there are
*no* U/S and imaging services in the ? Trusts? Affected? If not, what
have the effects - and knock-on effects - been since the contract was
suspended?
2. does NHS North West have a plan B?
3. how good is their implementation, and does this apply to all Atos
applications? After all, doesn't Atos also produce the software for C&B?
